OutKast decided to sing together again… April 11, 2014 Coachella Fest

First time the event took place in 1999, and since 2001 has been held annually in the third or fourth weekend of April. Fest included groups of different music’s genre orientations – indie rock, hip-hop, electronic and pop music. The festival also hosts art and sculpture exhibitions. As usual, an event will be held on the territory of several scenes or awnings, and performances are held at the same time.

According to unnamed sources this year we can also see the duo “OutKast” (now Big Boi and Andre 3000) on the Coachella’s scene. It is possible that the duo will return to the stage during the festival Coachella.

OutKast ceased their co-existence since the last album release “Idlewild” in 2006. Since that moment Big Boi has released two albums: “Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty” (2010) and “Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors” (2012). Andre 3000 assisted the other singers in the recording of their songs, and recently starred in the Jimi Hendrix biographic film “All Is By My Side”.

This year's OutKast already worked together, helping to record singles and remixes. But, at the same time, they denied that the duo reunited and continued to do their own projects.

Sources close to the musicians give contradictory comments about the reunion: some argue that between Big Boi and Andre 3000 still is a quarrel, while others assure us that they have “all right”.

Earlier in 2013, the duo met in the studio to take part in the recording of remixes for songs “Pink Matter” (Frank Ocean) and “Sorry” TI. But Andre 3000  immediately dispelled any suggestion that it was a reunion of Outkast.

Well, we have to wait for the festival to be sure in reunion of OutKast.
